The Firenze Tango Festival 2012 will be a special event for tango dancers from all over the world, ready to converge towards the Tuscan capital for a high-level event. The place chosen to host the event is the Teatro Obihall (the former Teatro Saschall ) in Via Fabrizio De Andrè. The Firenze Tango Festival 2012 will host a large number of participants and fans in a week full of passion, from Wednesday 25th April to Tuesday, May 1st. The Firenze Tango Festival 2012 this year is in its 10th edition. An anniversary to be celebrated with the participation of the great artists such as Miguel Angel Zotto, Andrea Reyero & Sebastian Missè, Laura Melo & Ricardo Barrios, Lorena Ermocida & Fabian Peralta, Gisele Avanzi & Marco Palladino, accompanied by the “Hyperion Ensemble Orchestra” with the vocalist Ruben Peloni. The Firenze Tango Festival 2012 is produced by the artistic directors Patricia Hilliges and Matteo Panero and it will have as special guest Ney Melo. Moreover, there will be a large space devoted to the most electric performances thanks to the work of the DJ: Felix Picherna, Gibo Gianni Giberti, Damian Boggio, Luca Lamberti, Oliver Krstic and Andy Mocellin-Cassina. Great expectations for the second edition of “Scholarship” which will be awarded to the best amateur artists who will perform on stage.
